12 Cavity Wooden Soap Mould

Wooden Soap Mould with plastic inserts to make 12 bars of soap known as the "Tara" mould. This  mould comes with the dividing inserts, side liners and a base liner. The mould is made with untreated FSC ply wood and has bolts to take the mould apart. 

The soap mould is suitable for cold process soap and hot process soap (Can not be placed in oven) and requires lining before use. A coat of wax/varnish will help add a coat of protection to the mould if required. The plastic inserts do flex and need to be straightened if any are slightly warped. The mould requires lining first and then the plastic side inserts put in place and then the dividers, as mentioned above, these may need slight flexing for a straight bar.

It takes a few days to make these moulds and so processing time may exceed our usual processing time. 

Please note that these moulds are hand made and all measurements are approximate and may vary from mould to mould. The plastic inserts are not suitable for placing in the oven

The mould with the inserts will make soap bars size 7cm x 5cm and and up to 5.0cm high.

The inside dimensions of the Mould are: 31cm x 16.9cm with a total height of 8cm.

The depth of the wood used to make the sides if the mould is approximately 21mm thick.

Review:  I have bought several items from Summer Naturals and the "Tara" 12 cavity soap mould being the latest, and just wanted to say how great this mould is. The mould arrived quickly and was packaged well, after unwrapping, I couldn't believe the quality, this is a sturdy mould that will last a long time. The plastic inserts fit perfectly and it was a joy to line which I only did to preserve the wood.  As the plastic inserts fit so well I didnt have to use any tape to hold the liner in place. I am already looking to buy more moulds .
