- Caution: When it comes to maintaining a pristine home, understanding where not to use citric acid is crucial for preserving the integrity of various surfaces. Citric acid, while an effective natural cleaner, can cause damage to certain materials. Avoid using it on natural stone surfaces such as granite, marble, and limestone, as the acid can etch and dull their finish. Additionally, steer clear of using citric acid on wood surfaces, including hardwood floors and furniture, as it can strip away protective finishes and lead to discoloration. It is also not recommended for use on aluminium or other soft metals, as it can cause pitting and corrosion. By being mindful of these limitations, you can ensure that your cleaning routine is both effective and safe for all surfaces in your home. This product is sold for cleaning & cosmetic purposes only.
